Quad-Cities African Violet Society Meeting Schedule
You are cordially invited to join us at our meetings.
Our Bylaws Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month at
7:00 p.m. at the Moline Garden Center,
5th Ave. & 34th St. Moline, IL.
Annual dues are $10.00.
Each meeting consists of a short business meeting,
raffle of leaves and starter
plants,
food and drink,
and a program dealing with some aspect of growing African Violets.

- December 10, 2007 Christmas party and leaf exchange. Share your favorite holiday treat!

- March 10, 2008 Pointers in Judging – Preparing for show
- April 14, 2008 Introduction to Gesneriads
- April 18 – 19, 2008 QCAVS Spring Violet Show and Sale
- May 12, 2008 Violet basics and Rx
- May 24 – June 1, 2008 National Convention in Tulsa, Oklahoma
- June 9, 2008 To be determined
- July 14, 2008 Trailers - "Making them do what I want them to do."
- August 11, 2008 Unusual gesneriads for the light garden
- September 8, 2008 Annual potluck. Bring a dish to share
