The prices listed below are for services that are provided by organizations other than MKC Systems LLC.

Domain Registration Fees

Web Host Fees

Registration Service Company Fees:

$35 to register your domain name for 1 year, and $35 a year thereafter. Longer registration periods are available with a discount to the fees.
Setup Fees:

There is usually a setup fee charged by the hosting service but with our partnership arrangements with the hosting companies this is usually waived.
MKC Systems LLC Fees :

If you have contracted with us to design your web site then there are no additional fees from us for registering your domain name.

If you have not contracted with us to design your web site but only want us to do the domain registration then there is a $50 fee from us along with the registration fees mentioned above.

Hosting Fees:

The hosting companies charge varying amounts for their hosting services based on what your needs are, i.e. a basic site with only a couple of pages and an e-mail address; a more comprehensive site with several pages and several e-mail address; or a full blown e-commerce site. These fees can run from as little as $4.95 a month to several hundred dollars a month.

We will work with you to help determine which plan is best for you now, and how you can change or modify your hosting plan as your company grows.

The listing below shows the fee schedule that we use to price our services.

Our pricing is fairly simple:
- Each web page cost $50.00.
- Every web site must have at least 1 page, called the Home Page.
- If you just need a one page web site then the cost to you will be $50.00.
- You can have any number of scanned images/pictures on your site as you want. If you supply us with the image there is no charge to add these to your page(s).
- If we need to scan them then we will charge $5.00 per image.

Feedback Forms:
A lot of sites like to have "Feedback Forms" where you can gather information from your visitors, or they can sign up for newsletter, etc.
This is not a problem and is just considered a 'page' and would fall under the $50.00 fee.

On-line ordering and sales.
If you are interested in selling items on-line there are several things to consider.

First, do you currently sell items in a store front?

  • If so, do you accept credit cards?
  • If you do accept credit cards then you need to contact your bank and determine what their requirements are for accepting credit cards over the internet. All banks are different. Most will charge a processing fee.
If you do not currently sell items in a store front (maybe you are starting a new web-only business) but want to accept credit card payments on your web site you still need to contact your bank and determine what their requirements are for accepting credit cards over the internet.
You will need to have a merchant account with your bank.

The process of setting up a web site with a shopping cart:
This is a multi-step process and we will highlight some of the basics but if you are interested in doing this there will be several questions that we will ask you to determine the best option for you.
First, we will help you determine/design your on-line selling requirements.
Second, we will help determine the best way to implement the actual credit card processing back-end.
Some of the options to do this are:

  • Using a 3rd party shopping cart service to process your orders.
  • Buy a shopping cart software system and purchase the Secure Certificate on your own. (This can be very expensive)
Both of these options have pros and cons and we can help you sort out the best option for your company. All of these options have fees associated with them that are not part of the fees we charge for doing the configuration work of your shopping cart.
The cost of the shopping cart processing fees from your bank, and/or a 3rd party shopping cart service are above and beyond the fees we charge.
Most banks and credit card processing services charge a monthly fee and a per-item processing fee. Check with your bank and credit card processing company to find out what their fee schedules are.

This was a very brief description of a shopping cart system. There is quite a bit more involved in getting a shopping cart system setup and installed and the best way to explain this is to talk with you one-on-one.

We can also provide on-going site management and consultation services. By having us maintain your web site as your business changes allows you to focus on your business and not having to worry about the work involved in maintaining the web site. Search Engines
We will submit your web site to all of the major web search engines, free of charge. We do this as a normal part of business for us.

Hit Counters
These are are also known as 'visitor counters'. These are added to your page free-of-charge.
